With almost all implantable medical devices facing the risk of infection, hydrophilic antimicrobial coatings are valuable in a wide range of clinical applications. For example, devices such as central venous catheters and urinary catheters that need to be implanted in the human body for 1-2 months will require hydrophilic antimicrobial coatings. jMedtech creatively combines our hydrophilic coating technology with antimicrobial coating technology to produce the hydrophilic antimicrobial dual-acting coating for medical devices for the reduction of device insertion induced trauma and device-related infections. The antimicrobial effects can be customized according to customers’needs.
